Expanding hosting options for our customers

Users of the octoplant pro hub* can now choose whether the required metadata is stored at a Central US or West Europe Microsoft data center. By providing this choice, AUVESY-MDT is responding to the optimization requests as well as the legal requirements of octoplant users located in the America economic area. Similarly, to European customers, some companies' data is not permitted to leave the American area.

While hosting was previously only offered on European servers, in the future users will be able to choose whether this data is stored at a Central US or a West Europe Microsoft data center. Customers with several production sites worldwide will now have the option of either using a combined tenant for all data on one of the two continents or hosting the data separately by employing two tenants.
