AUVESY-MDT names Will Draper new President of The Americas
The new appointment positions AUVESY-MDT and its octoplant software to capitalize on digital transformation and cybersecurity growth across the industrialized economy.
[Landau i. d. Pfalz (Germany) and Alpharetta, Georgia (USA), October 5, 2022] - AUVESY-MDT has named Will Draper its new President of the Americas. Draper is responsible for strategy, profitability, and day-to-day operations in the Americas, reporting to Dr. Tim Weckerle, AUVESY-MDT group CEO.
As the world's market and technology leader for data management in industrial automation, AUVESY-MDT is poised for outstanding growth. The Americas are a key area for customer acquisition and investment — with Will’s broad and varied technology leadership experience, we’re pleased to have found such a thought leader within the industry.

Draper has held senior leadership positions with Cirrus Logic, Dell EMC, and AVEVA. He joins AUVESY-MDT with deep experience in the technology space and a proven track record driving organizational development and growth in partnership with colleagues and clients.
Given his broad experience with customers in the IT and OT domain, Draper is well-suited to strengthen AUVESY-MDT’s position as the industry leader in the automation space, bridging the gap between those two stakeholder groups and driving accelerated collaboration.
