Your versiondog update is waiting for you
The new version versiondog 9.8.2 is available as of today. It focuses on fixing bugs, as well as security and editor updates.
The most important innovations at a glance:
- In the course of updating our databank versions to PostgreSQL 15, the server and the BackupClient were updated.
- An update of the versiondog servers was carried out. Along with this, the license format was changed from *.bin to *.json.
- In addition to all this, you can expect the following editor updates:
- Support for Rockwell Studio 5000 v35
- Support for Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Control Expert v15.3
- Extended support for CODESYS 3 (Upload)

Important Notice
The highest possible security is provided by versiondog only if you use the latest version. We therefore recommend you install the update now.
Furthermore, we would like to inform you that the server and BackupClient are only executable on 64-bit operating systems (newer than Win 7) from the new version onwards.
End of life versiondog
versiondog will be discontinued on 31.12.2025. Naturally, we will gladly assist all users who wish to switch to octoplant. To help ensure a smooth migration to octoplant, we have created a detailed guide.
