Sustainability, Productivity and Resilience in Manufacturing - Data Governance as the Key to Automation Success

Manufacturing systems must be productive, sustainable and resilient! At Connect 23, Prof. Dr. Thomas Bauernhansl, Fraunhofer IPA, explains how he comes to this conclusion and provides insights into current research projects. In doing so, he highlights why the digital transformation is doomed to fail without data availability. Find out, among other things

  • what is behind the productivity paradox
  • the interdependence of climate-neutral production and data availability
  • and how optimizing data governance can lead to technology sovereignty and cyber resilience.
